Description:

A small site divided into two smaller domes. The peat is undrained apart from the occasional old irregular drain. The vegetation assemblage contains typical bog flora and there is a good cover of Sphagnum species including S. magellanicum and S. papillosum. Erica tetralix, Calluna vulgaris, and Eriophorum angustifolium co-dominate with the Sphagna. This vegetation grades rather untidily into the surrrounding land where a number of non bog species occur.

In the areas which were formerly cut over, Polytrichum commune is frequent.
