  Catrine Voes and Woodlands LNR
Catrine Voes is a fascinating LNR which combines natural and cultural interest. A network of reservoirs, or ‘voes’, which were designed to supply water for a cotton mill in the village of Catrine, are now valued for their natural heritage interest, as well as being important industrial archeological artifacts. Breeding birds include grey wagtail, dipper and spotted flycatcher.
