Wild Land Day at Film Festival
A Wild Land Day was held as part of the Fort William Mountain Film Festival this year. The event was part sponsored by the Nevis Partnership as part of ongoing efforts to promote consideration of wildness in our countryside.
In the evening Dick Balharry, chair of the John Mur Trust, gave a presentation of his personal experience of wild land using golden eagles as a barometer of wildness. Judging by the amount of post talk questions, wildness and wild land are very close to people’s hearts.
