We fund ranger services and education officers to help you discover nature near you. Contact the Ranger services or Education Officers for events and activities near you.

Ranger Services Other Education Work

See Appendix 1 for list of contact details for Ranger services.

We fund other education work in the area through the local Greenspace Teams. Find out about your local Greenspace Team and how you can get involved here.

Schools

We offer grants to schools to improve their school grounds for wildlife and children.

In East Dunbartonshire, Glasgow, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire and North Lanarkshire we fund this through the education authorities own schemes, please contact your education advisor. Schools in other local authority areas should apply direct to their local office.

Aren't Birds Brilliant in Glasgow

The RSPB, with support from SNH, have activities for school groups and members of the public at the Kelvingrove Museum and Park. To book a session please call 0141 331 0993

Clyde in the Classroom Eco-schools

Schools can take part in this exciting project to bring salmon eggs into the classroom and release the baby fish into the wild.

Schools can take part in a hugh range of environmental activities and win the prestigious Green Flag for their schools.
