Sustainable Seas for All - a consultation on Scotland's first marine bill
The consultation on proposals for Scotland's first marine bill was launched by the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment on the 14th July during a visit to Storehouse of Foulis north of Inverness. The consultation period will end on 6 October.
A series of public events are being organised at locations around the country. Details of these events are available on the Scottish Marine Bill webpage and I would be grateful if you could bring these to the attention of interested parties.
The programme will be updated as details and further events are organised and therefore it is recommended that the webpage is visited regularly. People can also register for updates to the programme by contacting marinebill@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
The consultation document along with advice on how to respond can also
be found on the webpage, or alternatively hard copies can be requested
by contacting marinebill@scotland.gsi.gov.uk or telephoning 0131 244
