The Countryside Character Network is an informal network
of over 450 members, open to anyone who is interested
in Landscape Character Assessment and its applications.
The Countryside Character Network (CCN) is supported
by the Countryside Agency.
Network aims to promote best practice in applying the
Countryside Character approach and Landscape Character
Assessments by exchanging information, ideas and experience.

developed as the new focus for network activity. The
web site includes a restyled newsletter available online,
along with a revamped interactive discussion forum,
details of future network workshops. A Good Practice
database of Landscape Character Assessments and their
application will also be developed as well as an on-line
booking facility for CCN workshops.
