Introduction

This section is aimed primarily at Planning professionals, Landscape Architects and Developers but will be a useful source of information and good practice guidance for many other practitioners, professionals and community groups.

NEW SiteLink goes live!

SitelinkSNH has developed a new online mapping tool to deliver accurate and comprehensive natural heritage information. The New SiteLink map tool, which will be freely available to everybody via the SNH website, allows everybody with a computer access to an interactive electronic map that presents all the key information about Scotland's suite of designated sites. It carries up-to-date information such as Site Management Statements, designated site boundaries, Operations Requiring Consent, the condition of a designated site's features, species found on and near a site and much, much more.
